Caisy Lun and Charles Leisenring met at the USC School of Cinematic Arts and they quickly realized that they had a shared passion to make content that can positively impact the world. During their last year at USC they were hired to travel to Guatemala to film a group of doctors giving pro-bono knee replacement surgeries to locals in need. That experience became the seed for Purple Sandbox, a production company dedicated to creating socially conscious content.
Charles and Caisy have worked with clients such as Operation Walk and the FSH Society to create content that raised awareness and money for their work. They have also individually worked for Bravo TV, Simon Helberg’s Wildline Entertainment, and Disney Digital Network.
In their previous lives Caisy worked as a writer, photographer, and production manager at a national Buddhist newspaper and Charles built fully accessible Media Arts programs for the NYS Service for the Handicapped and United Cerebral Palsy of NYC.
